Here at Salix Intimates, we believe in providing customers with the very best sustainable lingerie + earth-friendly apothecary shopping experience. Our team is small, but we work together to facilitate an enjoyable shopping experience and provide eco-minded expertise in lingerie fit + styling. We provide helpful support for those looking to try eco-friendly + sustainable products for the first time (or the 100th time!). We show compassion and understanding as we believe eco-friendly living does not have to be an all or nothing approach. We're here to help and always want our customers to have a great time at our shop.

Retail Sales Associate: 

We’re looking for someone to join our New Paltz sales team!

 

Part-time position; 15-25 hours a week, 2-4 days a week. Shifts are 3-7 hours long, with a paid break everyday. Weekend availability is a must, plus a possible day or two during the week as needed. We pay hourly plus commission.

 

This is a sales focused position, previous experience in customer service, sales, shopkeeping and/or lingerie is a definite plus!

 

Responsibilities include attending to customers + sales, bra fitting (don’t worry, we train on this if you’re not familiar!), general shop maintenance + upkeep, web order fulfillment and more.

 

This position is best for someone who likes to talk to and engage with people, someone who is comfortable in a retail + sales environment. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, who can work alone responsibly + efficiently. This person has a love for lingerie + eco-friendly items. We train extensively on our brands, so knowing all of them is not required, though being eager to learn new things + asking questions is always a plus.
